The 'After Dark' EP is a collection of 6 songs that experiment the mixture of commercial pop music with tropical and funk elements. It combines conventional pop instrumentation with 80s synthesis and as well as live and organic sounds to create warm and powerful mixes. The meticulous detail of all six songs is what ties the EP together and forms part of Sam’s signature sound. The overall experience of the work is grounded and honest while providing an energising boost that is hard to resist.
